100 Years of Girl Scouting
100th Anniversary Celebration
More than 3,000 Girl Scouts, adult volunteers, alumnae, council board and staff members, and GSUSA National Board and staff members participated in 100th anniversary surveys and interviews. This collective vision is helping to shape plans for commemorating such an important milestone.
As you'll see, GSUSA is planning many exciting events to reflect Girl Scouts as the voice of and for girls. At the same time, councils across the country are planning local and statewide anniversary events and activities.
In the Works
In 2012, Girl Scouting will celebrate its 100th Anniversary. This milestone provides a unique opportunity to reflect on the impressive contribution that Girl Scouts has made over the past 100 years, to rally support as we bridge into the next century of serving girls and of course — to celebrate! As we begin to plan how GSEP will mark this momentous occasion, we'd love to hear what you think.
